By accessing or using the services provided by CanGO through our website, mobile application, or other platforms (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services.
2. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. Any updates or changes will be posted on our website or app. Your continued use of our Services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
3. Use of Services
3.1 Registration
You must create an account to use our Services. During registration, you must provide accurate and complete information, including your name, contact details, and payment information, and you must update this information as necessary.
3.2 Restrictions
You must not misuse our Services by engaging in fraudulent activities, attempting unauthorized access, using the Services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, or violating any applicable laws or regulations.
3.3 Age Requirement
You must be at least 18 years old or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction to use our Services.
4. Payment
4.1 Fees
The total cost of each ride includes the ride price plus a service fee of 15%. This service fee covers the operational costs of the platform and helps maintain our Services. All applicable taxes, fees, tolls, surcharges, or other additional costs shall be added to the ride’s total cost as required by law.
4.2 Payment Methods
Users may choose from various payment methods, including credit cards, debit cards, or other payment platforms supported by our Services. By providing payment information, you authorize us and the third-party payment processors to charge all applicable fees related to the ride.
4.3 Billing
Payment is automatically processed at the end of each ride. A detailed receipt, including a breakdown of all charges, will be sent to your registered email address or available in the app.
4.4 Invoices and Receipts
Users may request invoices and receipts through the app or by contacting our customer support team. Invoices will include detailed information about the ride, including the route, duration, price, and all additional charges.
4.5 Disputes and Refunds
Any disputes related to payments must be reported within a specified period as determined by our refund policy. We will investigate the issue and may provide refunds or adjustments as deemed appropriate.
4.6 Security
We use secure third-party payment processors that comply with relevant security standards to protect your payment information. Your full payment details are not stored on our servers.
5. Cancellation Policy
5.1 User Cancellation
5.1.1 Before Driver’s Arrival
Users may cancel a ride at any time before the driver arrives at the pick-up location without incurring a fee.
5.1.2 After Driver’s Arrival
If a user cancels a ride after the driver has arrived, a 20% fee will be charged.
5.1.3 After Trip Start
Once a trip has started, cancellation is not possible for the user.
5.2 Driver Cancellation
5.2.1 Before Arrival
Drivers are free to cancel before arriving with no penalty.
5.2.2 After Trip Start
Cancellation is not possible once the trip has started, except in extraordinary circumstances.
5.3 Refunds
Cancellation fees will be deducted from your account, and refunds, if applicable, will be processed according to our refund policy.
5.4 Fraud or Suspicious Activity
Any fraudulent or suspicious activity may result in suspension or termination of your account.
6. Driver Account Activation and Payment Terms
6.1 Driver Account Activation
6.1.1 Verification of License and Documents
Drivers must submit a valid License VTA or any other required professional driving license/documentation as mandated by applicable laws and regulations in their jurisdiction. All submitted documents will undergo a thorough verification process by our team.
6.1.2 Bank Account Details
During the activation process, drivers must provide a valid bank account where their earnings will be deposited. This information must be shared when our team contacts the driver during account setup.
6.1.3 Contact and Communication
Drivers must provide accurate and up-to-date contact details, including a valid email address and phone number, to facilitate smooth communication during the verification process.
6.1.4 Approval Process
Driver accounts will only be activated once all documents are verified, the bank account details are confirmed, and the driver meets all platform eligibility requirements.
6.1.5 Right to Deny Activation
We reserve the right to deny or delay account activation if the driver fails to provide the required documents, does not meet the platform’s criteria, or submits false or misleading information.
6.2 Drivers’ Payment Terms
6.2.1 Balance Payouts
Drivers will receive their balance (earned through completed rides) automatically within a maximum of 2 business days.
6.2.2 Payment Method
Payments will be deposited exclusively to the verified bank account provided during the activation process.
6.2.3 Payment Security
We use secure payment systems to process and transfer drivers’ earnings. Drivers’ payment details are protected under strict confidentiality standards.
6.2.4 Disputes or Errors
Drivers must report any discrepancies or errors in payment to support@cango.com within 14 business days to initiate a review. Adjustments or resolutions will be handled promptly.
6.2.5 Account Suspension
Payouts may be temporarily withheld, and the driver’s account may be suspended if fraudulent or suspicious activity is detected.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
Our Services are provided “as-is” and “as available” without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
